What is a board game café ?

As the name suggests, a board game café is a place where anyone can come in to play board games and have some refreshments.

What makes a board game café special is more than just the fact that there are over 500 games available to play, with new games arriving each week. Our staff will be able to match you with a game if you don't know what you want to play, match you with other players if you're looking for people to play with, and show you how to play the game you end up choosing.

We have games from a wide range of genres. You can play classics like chess, draughts, and backgammon, well known family favourites like Game of Life, Scrabble, and Cluedo, Euro classics like Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and Alhambra, American style games, Co-operative games like Shadows over Camelot, Battlestar Galactica, and Dead of Winter, Party games, Social games, Games for kids, and many, many more. If it can conceivably be classed as a board game, then we will try to have it.
